We are now at the halfway point of this journey.
We left NZ and have crossed the Tasmanian sea to Melbourne and we have now been gone for 30 days
So far this has been a true adventure, just like Bilbo in J.R.R. Tolkien’s book.
We have so far had spot on hotels and flights(except one delay in LAX). The trix is to book early and that we did.
The wether has been nice. We only have had one day of rain and some light showers and the temperature has been well into the 20 range and above😃
As some of you know we are in the mid 50’s and both have some medical issues to deal with on a journey like this. Its ok and controlable but it dont get easyer the older you get.
And that is what I will tell you:
Dont wait untill you are a pensioner to do a journey like this. If you have plans to do it, Do it now! You need a degree of movement and stamina to enjoy it to it’s best.
Work you can do later!
By the way: The pollen season has started down under 🤦🏻♂️
